WHAT IS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE?

Since we got Bobby, he has been a very stable alarm clock.

The children wake us up around 6 am every morning. So we roll out of bed, turn on some candles, and then it's oatmeal for breakfast and tired eyes around the dining table. My morning primarily revolves around getting the children dressed, fed, teeth brushed, and dropped off at daycare. We also manage to take a quick shower and get dressed ourselves. If we're not in a hurry and don't have to go straight to work afterward, we go home and get ready after dropping off the boys.
I enjoy that we can do that most mornings.

HOW DO YOU PREFER TO SPEND AN HOUR IN YOUR OWN COMPANY?

I would probably prioritize taking a nap. Life with small children is very intense, and I need a lot of sleep. So, when I have the time and opportunity to take a nap, I do. Otherwise, I love taking a long bath, moisturizing my body with oils and creams, doing gua sha massage, and drinking a lovely cup of tea. One of the things that fill me up the most is my own company. I really enjoy being alone <3

WHAT IS YOUR BEST ADVICE FOR SHOWING SELF-LOVE AND PRIORITIZING YOURSELF IN A BUSY DAY?

Take small breaks. Enjoying a cup of tea or coffee in peace. Moving my body. Laughing and talking.

Generally just allowing life to go a bit slower, enjoying a bit more, and being more attentive
to body and mind.

HAVE YOU MADE A DECISION IN YOUR LIFE THAT HAS BEEN PARTICULARLY GOOD FOR YOU?

To clean up my life - especially in my relationships. The people I have in my life mean a lot to me. Over the years, I have found that I do not have a particularly large social need, and today I love creating some good and close relationships that I both trust and feel completely safe with.

WHAT ADVICE, ON CREATING A LIFE IN BALANCE, WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF?

Trust your gut feeling and your own potential. It is always possible to start a new beginning.

YOUR BEST TIP FOR A STRONG AND HEALTHY BODY AS WELL AS A MIND IN BALANCE?

Living Yolates - the most fantastic holistic form of exercise, which also always involves the mind. That form of exercise has made me strong from the inside, out! It is a combination of yoga, pilates, and dance, and in addition, a lot of energy work is incorporated into the movements.

Have you always embraced a holistic lifestyle focusing on love, care, and being present? Furthermore, has it been your dream to work in this field professionally?

I grew up with a mother who has given me great interest in the holistic, especially in my late teenage years. Therefore, it feels like a very natural part of me and my personality. Holism has continued to expand within me over the years, and I love being able to work with it every single day, both personally and professionally.

DO YOU HAVE AN EASY BEAUTY TIP THAT WE MAY SHARE?

Not taking life too seriously; laugh, have fun, and listen to your body's needs!

IF YOU COULD CHOOSE AN ACTIVITY OF YOUR OWN CHOICE THAT WOULD FILL YOU WITH LOTS OF ENERGY - WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Free dance! I love free dance. Both by myself, in my living room with my boys, or with my students. It is one of the most healing and caring things my body knows.
