WHAT IS YOUR MORNING ROUTINE?

Always meditative and breathing exercises. It's like brushing your teeth - I feel like I'm missing something if I skip it. In addition, 20 minutes of basic hatha yoga a couple of times a week - to stretch the body through.

Every Wednesday morning 7.15-8.30 I go to kundalini yoga at Dalgasyoga.

HOW DO YOU PREFER TO SPEND AN HOUR IN YOUR OWN COMPANY?

In silence and preferable out in nature.

My reality, though, is that I live in the city and am self-employed. So, with silence is ok – I work from home 2-3 times a week and never have radio or anything running. And my morning routines are also in silence. But nature is sometimes far away, at least on weekdays. On the weekends we often go to the cottage - and here nature is right outside the door - and I enjoy it incredibly much. And fills me up - that's how it can feel at least.

WHAT IS YOUR BEST ADVICE FOR SHOWING SELF-LOVE AND PRIORITIZING YOURSELF IN A BUSY DAY?

To meditate or do meditative exercises. To feel and love oneself (and others), the "noise" should be cleaned out. And we all get unbelievably noisy in our lives. Alone a ride through the city by bike during rush hour, alone a ride on Instagram, etc. So, to give himself attention, we need to balance first.

And for me, inner balance when it's there is the best luxury in the world and love for myself.

HAVE YOU MADE A DECISION IN YOUR LIFE THAT HAS BEEN PARTICULARLY GOOD FOR YOU?

When I took my first yoga course in 2002 - where I learned the meaning of breathing, yoga, and meditation. It gave me a deeper level.

I feel much much more in myself and in life, for better or for worse (honestly) when I have meditated.

WHAT ADVICE, ON CREATING A LIFE IN BALANCE, WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF?

Put the big ego aside. Or put the unbalanced ego away.

The ego can do something, it can drive you to careers and good grades, etc. but it can, when too big (out of balance), also create chaos in your life (inner chaos). It is the ego that judges, makes drama, and has a thousand opinions a minute. Just to get crazy about. And it takes focus away from life itself in a way.

YOUR BEST TIP FOR A STRONG AND HEALTHY BODY AS WELL AS A MIND IN BALANCE?

Yoga. My own mind is more in balance than my body is strong :)

So, I could with advantage, also considering my age, strength training. But that's not the case right now. And I choose not to have a bad conscience about it. If my body is supple and does not work, then I am ok with it.

Why is ecology important to you?

Oh, it's like a must for our planet.

Ecology is basic = the absence of poison. Poison that kills weeds, insects, and fungi. All tree are important elements in the small and the very large ecosystem of which we humans are a part. So conventional farming is like sawing the branch you are sitting on. We can and we must do better. And we start with ecology.

Feel like shouting it out loud to everyone. It's like it's not important. We talk a lot about it. But ecology is still a very small part of all agriculture. That's crazy, actually.

DO YOU HAVE AN EASY BEAUTY TIP THAT WE MAY SHARE?

Yes, so a nice look is not my ambition. That is, to look like a model or other beauty ideal. You cannot get such traditional beauty tips from me :)

But I now also see beauty as an inner thing, so when we feel good and rest in ourselves, then we are beautiful, then we are beautiful. So, the best tip is to get in balance - and it is daily meditative training that can probably take the longest :)

The lack of having been or being in balance - it is that you feel immediately when you are not. Ohh, I have it myself. And it's a bit annoying, but in a way also "a blessing in disguise"

IF YOU COULD CHOOSE AN ACTIVITY OF YOUR OWN CHOICE THAT WOULD FILL YOU WITH LOTS OF ENERGY - WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Dynamic meditation - a movement meditation that is honest, powerful, and effective. If you're interested, watch YouTube. Do it sometimes in the cottage - if the family is out or with others on retreats or morning sessions. Otherwise, a 1.5-hour kundalini yoga.

And finally, and that is my luxury, a 4–5-day silence retreat on Samsø or Møn with lots of meditation, yoga, plant-based food, and tranquility.
